This lovely costume has been seen at least seven times! It was likely made for the production of Sense and Sensibility in 1995, and from there was used in various productions in film and television, including a documentary on the life of Jane Austen. In the many times it has been used, it doesn't seem to have been heavily altered. The only change can be seen in the last time it was used in Cranford, when the front bow seems to have been removed. |
