This lovely, and highly detailed gown was most likely made for the episode of Doctor Who entitled Black Orchid, where it barely makes an appearance in the background, but it may even date to an earlier time. Since then it has been seen in the BBC's Aristocrats, and in an episode of the science program Nova, entitled Einstein's Big Idea. From there it went on to be used in the film Marie |
