This lovely gown, designed by Adrian for the production of Marie Antoinette and then used again for The Toast of New Orleans. It has been seen on display in the Sketch to Screen exhibit, where, though unredited in the film, I was able to confirm it had originally been worn by Dorothy Christy. |
