This gown is another fantastic example of just how much the lighting in a scene can change its colour and appearance. It appears rather blue in Aristocrats, and fairly green in The Duchess. Looking at the placement of the stripes, as well as the white frills at the collar, it's clear to see this is indeed the same gown, though some of the frills from the stomacher seem to have been removed. |
