This costume was designed by Travilla. In August 1975 it was worn by a PR exectuive named Jane Keiran, who wore the costume on behalf of Christie's Auction House. The costume was eventually purchased by Debbie Reynolds, who amassed a very large Hollywood costume collection over the years. She sold her collection recently in a series of auctions. This costume was sold on December 3rd, 2011, for $230,000.
