This beautiful gown was made for the production The Madness of King George in 1994 and has been used again several times. It appeared a second time in the BBC's The Aristocrats, and then again two years later in The Affair of the Necklace. It appeared several years later in the science program Nova, in an episode entitled Einstein's Big Idea. The gown made two appearances in 2006 - first in the wedding scene of Marie Antoinette, and then in Doctor Who, in the episode The Girl in the Fireplace. It was then seen a seventh time in the BBC's Fanny Hill. |
