It's not known if this beautiful riding coat was made for Catherine the Great, or if it dates to an earlier production. What is interesting about this gown is that you never get to see how truly stunning it is in Catherine the Great - the video quality isn't particularly brilliant since it was made for television and the lighting was poorly done. However, in Brotherhood of the Wolf, a much larger production, we are able to see this magnificent costume up close and in detail - and most importantly - we are shown the absolutely stunning colour that it really is. |
